John 9:21

“But how he can now see, or who opened his eyes, we don't know. Ask him. He is of age; he will speak for himself.”

Praise the Lord, my friend,

In the above verse, we see the parents of a man who had been blind from birth.

They tell the religious leaders to ask their son about his healing because he is old enough to speak for himself.

And he does exactly that in the verse below.

❝

John 9:25

“One thing I do know. I was blind, but now I see!”

You see, my friend, the man didn't have all the answers to their questions, but he knew what had happened to him.

And that is something we can learn from when it comes to sharing our faith with others.

My friend, there are moments when we hesitate to speak about Jesus because we feel that we don't know enough.

We also worry that someone might ask a question we cannot answer or that we won't be able to explain our beliefs properly.

But we don't have to know the full theology to share God's love or talk about our faith with someone.

Instead, we can share what we've experienced, just as the blind man did.

We humans, connect better with real stories because they help us understand what someone has been through and how it has affected their life.

So, let us talk about how God helped us through a difficult phase and how He gave us peace when everything around us felt chaotic.

Let us share our experiences honestly and with love for God, so that others can see the light the Lord has put in us.

And who knows, after hearing our story, someone might feel encouraged to pray to Jesus or turn to Him when they face a similar situation.

And while sharing, let us not feel the pressure to make our stories sound extraordinary.

Instead, let's focus on genuinely sharing what God has done in our lives and let Him take care of the rest.

May His will be done and His name be glorified through our lives.

Share with Prayer:

We don’t know who needs the above reminder, but God knows, my friend.

So let us share it with a prayer.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving us and for all that You have done in our lives.

Please help us know You more each day and understand Your Word better.

Help us remember the times You have helped us, given us strength, and brought us peace when we needed it most.

Lord, please give us the courage to share our experiences with others.

When we feel that we don't know enough or are afraid of what others might think, remind us that we don't need to have all the answers to talk about You.

Help us speak from our hearts and share what we have received from You.

We pray that You use our stories and our one share to reach someone who needs to hear about Your love.

Please open their hearts to know You, and help us be willing to share whenever You give us an opportunity.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Amen.
