Praise the Lord, my friend

Have you ever prayed for something with all your heart, believing God would change the situation?

All of us have done that, right?

And there are moments when the answer we get isn’t what we were looking for.

And those moments feel really difficult.

Because we often, in the chaos of life, start to look at faith as believing that God will give us what we are asking for.

But what happens when His answer is different from the one we hoped for?

The Bible gives us a beautiful example of this through Paul.

2 Corinthians 12:9

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

You see, Paul had asked God to take away something that was troubling him, but God did not give him the answer he wanted.

Instead, God reminded him that His grace was enough.

That can be difficult for us to understand, my friend.

We often want God to remove the situation, fix the problem, open the door, or give us the answer we have been praying for.

But sometimes, God gives us strength to walk through something instead of taking it away.

And that does not mean He has stopped listening.

It means we are learning to trust Him even when we do not understand what He is doing.

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

We often want to understand God's plan before we trust Him, but Scripture tells us to trust Him even when we don't understand.

I know that is not always easy, my friend.

There may be prayers we keep bringing before God because we desperately want a different answer from Him.

There may be doors we wanted Him to open that remain closed.

And there may be things we asked Him to change that He has allowed to remain the same in our lives.

In those moments, we can still choose to trust Him.

Because His grace is sufficient and He is still working.

We may not understand the reason today, but we can remember that God sees what we cannot see.

So, if God has given you an answer you did not want, don’t think that your faith has failed, my friend.

Pleaseeeeeeeeee, keep praying, trusting, and walking with Him.

Dear Father God,

Thank You for always being with us, even when we don't understand what You are doing.

There are times when we pray for something with all our hearts and hope for a certain answer, but things don't turn out the way we wanted.

Father, help us trust You when Your answer is different from ours.

When we feel disappointed or confused, remind us that You see what we cannot see and that Your plans are greater than our own.

I also pray for my friend reading this right now. You know what they have been praying for and the answer they are waiting for.

If they are struggling to accept Your will, please give them peace and help them keep trusting You.

And as we share the above reel, please let it reach someone who needs this reminder today.

Use it to help them draw closer to You and trust You even when the answer is hard to understand.

Help us lean on You instead of our own understanding and keep walking with You through every season.
