Praise the Lord, my friend,

We all know that God loves us.

We have heard and read it in the Bible many times.

And we also remind ourselves of it in difficult moments.

But do we really understand how great His love is?

Paul prayed about this in Ephesians:

Ephesians 3: 18-19

“May have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

You see, Paul does not just pray that we would know that Christ loves us.

He prays that we would understand how wide, long, high, and deep that love is.

And then he says that this love surpasses knowledge.

In other words, the love of Christ is greater than what our minds can fully understand.

And we need to remind ourselves of that more often, my friend.

Because sometimes, we look at our shortcomings and wonder how God could still love us after all that mess we made.

But His love does not become ineffective because of our failures.

The cross itself shows us how far His love was willing to go for us.

There is no measurement we can put on that kind of love.

Hence, we may spend our whole lives learning about God's love, and there will still be more to know.

John 14:15

“If you love me, keep my commands.”

We know God will love and forgive us no matter what we do, but we should not take it for granted.

I know we can’t love God in the same way, but we can at least do and obey what He has asked us to do, my friend.

So, let us read his word, obey it, and not engage in the things that are not pleasing to Him.

And, if we fall short, let us pleaseeee go back to Him with a heart of true repentance.

My friend, if He can leave the 99 behind to search for us, then why can’t we leave the temporary worldly desires behind to choose the Omniscient Creator of the World?

Jesus loves us unconditionally, and He is always waiting to hear from us, my friend.

So, let us love Him too by talking to him, surrendering ourselves, and obeying His word.

God’s will be done. 🥰

Dear Father God,

Thank You for Your agape love. You loved us and gave Your life for us. Thank You for that eternal sacrifice, oh Lord.

Lord, thank You for forgiving us even when we do things that hurt You.

Help us to understand this love, Lord.

There are moments in our lives when we start to doubt it and think You can’t love and forgive us after doing something.

During those moments, let the Holy Spirit in us remind us of Your unfailing and unconditional love.

Lord, at the same time, help us to not take Your love for granted.

We don’t want to treat it as a free pass to indulge in worldly things that aren’t pleasing to You.

Lord, I pray for my friend reading this right now. You know what they’re going through and feeling worried about.

Please give them peace in the middle of everything they are facing.

Lord, remind them that they are not alone and that Your love has not changed.

Please, help them trust You, follow Your Word, and make choices that bring them closer to You.

And Lord, please use the above post that we are about to share for Your purpose.

Let it reach the right person and help someone understand the depth of Your love and draw closer to You.
