Praise the Lord, my friend,
All of us have a lot of things that we want to pray and ask God for, right?
And, in that process, we remember the prayers we are still waiting to be answered.
But we often forget the prayers God has already answered.
And sometimes we only thank God for the answered prayers and forget the unanswered ones; forgetting that no answer is still an answer from God.
So, is that what we are supposed to do?
Be thankful to God at our own convenience?
Philippians 4:6
In every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Did you notice that, my friend?
Paul says, “In every situation.”
That means we don’t have to wait until everything works out before we thank God.
We can come to Him with our requests and thanksgiving at the same time.
We can tell God what we need, what we are hoping for, and even what we don’t understand, while still thanking Him.
I know that can be difficult when we are waiting for something we deeply want.
And, sometimes, the longer we wait, the more our attention moves toward the unanswered prayer, and then we forget to look at the God we are praying to.
But our circumstances don’t decide whether God is worthy of our thanks, my friend.
We may not understand His timing in the moment.
And we may not know what His answer will be, but we can still trust Him because He is faithful and loves us.
So today, my friend, bring your requests to God.
Don’t hold back from asking Him for what you need.
But while you pray, remember to thank Him too for everything He has done, is doing, and will be doing for you.
And remember, Jesus loves youuuuuuuuuuu. (He must be smiling looking at you right now)
May His name be glorified. 🥰

We don’t know who needs to see this above content piece, but God does.
So, let’s share it with a prayer, my friend.
Let’s Pray:
Dear Father God,
Thank You for allowing us to come before You with everything that is on our hearts.
You know the prayers we have in our minds for a long time, the things we are still waiting for, and the things we do not understand.
Father, help us not to forget to thank You while we wait.
Teach us to bring our requests to You with a thankful heart, trusting You even when we cannot see what You are doing.
I also pray for my friend reading this right now.
You know what they have been praying about and how long they have been waiting.
Please give them strength to keep trusting You and help them remember Your faithfulness in the middle of their waiting.
And as we share the above reel, please let it reach someone who needs to hear this today.
Use these words to turn their heart toward You and remind them that they can bring everything to You in prayer.
Help us trust You with the things we cannot control and give You thanks in every situation.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
